As a condition of presenting a one-act production for Chapter Select at the Pennsylvania State Thespian Conference, each troupe must confirm full compliance with the Chapter Select Guidelines & Checklist requirements as established by the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA).

 

These requirements, found in the Chapter Select Administrator Guide (2025), ensure that all productions meet festival standards for performance rights, safety, logistics, and technical specifications.
 
Adjudicators will use this scoring rubric to determine which One-Act performance will earn the PA spot at the International Thespian Festival.
