  • To recognize outstanding leadership in arts education.

  • To motivate excellence in arts education.

  • To draw public attention to the accomplishments of school arts leadership.

  • To honor meaningful contributions to the growth and sustainability of arts programs.

  • To honor excellence in administrative goals and practices that enable artists, educators, and students to thrive


 

Process

Nominations for PA Thespian Administrators Award may be submitted by any Troupe Director. 

 

If you would like to nominate an administrator, please send the following information via email to the chpater director with “Administrator Award” in the subject line.

 

In your message, please include the administrator’s full name, school name, job title, and your troupe #.  You should also elaborate on the leadership of your nominee in support of your school art program and their advocacy of arts and arts in education.

Principles

The nominee demonstrates strong advocacy for the arts and champions their importance within the school community.

The nominee must demonstrate leadership in support of school arts programs and has developed, expanded, or significantly improved arts programs, opportunities, or experiences for students.

The nominee works to ensure that students from diverse backgrounds and circumstances have equitable access to high-quality arts education.

Supports, empowers, and recognizes arts educators and creates conditions for them to thrive.
