PA Thespians is part of the EdTA, Educational Theatre Association, a national parent organization for all state Thespian Groups. Every year, volunteer theatre educators come together to plan and execute a state Thespian festival showcasing the talent, commitment, and work ethic of Pennsylvania student artists.Â
The 2026-2027 PA THESPIAN FESTIVAL will be held December 4-6, 2026, at Altoona High School in Altoona, PA. The conference will include four full-length mainstage productions, eleven one-act plays, three workshop sessions with nationally recognized EdTA workshop leaders, Scholarship Auditions and Portfolio presentations by seniors, a College Showcase program for juniors, and several technical challenge events.
