2021-22 State Thespian Conference
Thursday, December 1st - a virtual component to the state conference that everyone can participate with from their home school. (Up to you whether you want to do this during the school day, or after the school day is over. The only live event over zoom would be around 3:30 in the afternoon, when school is over.)
Friday, December 2nd - depending on where you are coming from - travel in the morning. The in person conference will start at North Penn at 1pm and conclude around 10:30pm.
Saturday, December 3rd -  9am-10:30pm, in person at North Penn HS

When we are in the North Penn building, everyone MUST be CORRECTLY masked at all times - no exceptions. PA Thespians is committed to the safety and wellbeing of its membership and is ready to follow the safety recommendations and mandates of state, local and other public health officials as well as all event host venues. Participants unwilling to follow required safety practices will not be permitted to remain at any host venue. There will be no refunds for any students or adults who are unable to attend. Safety practices are subject to change based on updated state, local and other public health official mandates as well as those of event host venues.
We are grateful for your patience and flexibility as we all do our best to follow best practices and keep one another safe.

Shuttles - Part of the costs of attending conference is transportation. Most schools are able to have whatever means of transportation they are using to get to North Penn throughout the weekend. For those that are not able to have their transportation stay with them through the conference we will try to provide shuttle bus service to get from North Penn to the hotels on Friday night, from the hotels to North Penn on Saturday morning and then back to the hotels on Saturday night. This cost is still TBD, but it was $25 per person the last time we had to provide this (several years ago.) It is highly encouraged to have your own transportation for the entire conference.

Hotels - We will be working with area hotels to get conference rates. Hotel rooms are VERY limited. We highly suggest that if you are within 45 minutes of your home school, you may want/need to return home instead of trying to find hotel rooms.
Each school has their own requirements for how many students can room together, but we will attempt to get as many 2 queen bed rooms (to house up to 4 students) as possible. Most schools will be looking for hotel rooms for Friday and Saturday nights, however you may chose to travel Thursday and need hotel rooms on Thursday night. You may also chose to leave Saturday night and drive home and then you would not need hotel rooms for Saturday night. Each school makes, pays for and is responsible for their own hotel reservations.

We hope that you and your troupe will be able to participate in this year's upcoming Conference!

If you have any questions about our upcoming conference or anything else Thespian related, please don't hesitate to contact the Chapter Director.
