Colleges, Universities and VENDORS
Thank you to our Diamond Sponsor
We invite Colleges and Universities to attend the PA Thespian Conference in person, however there is also a virtual option.
In Person...
Colleges, Universities and Vendors planning on attending in person should plan on arriving mid afternoon on Friday. You will be able to set up your display after school is out at North Penn on Friday, and the first activity for you to be involved with will be the Sr Scholarship auditions late Friday afternoon. The final workshop and college display time will wrap up late Saturday afternoon.
There is a $100 in person fee per institution or vendor payable to PA THESPIANS (this includes a table).
Virtual...
Colleges and Universities will be sent the application information for students who participate in our Sr Scholarship (Seniors) and College Showcase programs (Juniors). We will also send a recording of their audition/presentation from the conference.
There is a $75 virtual option for colleges and universities.
Mail checks to - PA Thespians, c/o Mark Zortman, 3695 Crossfield Lane, York, PA. 17406 or hand in at registration. If using a credit card, set up a time for a phone call (contact chapterdirector@pathespians.org), or pay with card at in person registration.
We would love to give you the opportunity to get special recognition and more notice with our students and teachers by being a sponsor. Sponsor opportunity information is here.
Colleges and Universities - We highly encourage you to offer a scholarship of some sort (technical, performance, etc). You will receive the information from our Sr Scholarship applicants and our Jr. College Showcase applicants (about 2 weeks before the conference). This will not include the actual audition, which will take place live at the conference. You are welcome to sit in on the Sr Scholarship auditions while judging is being done by our adjudicators. The Jr. College showcase is set up for college reps alone to view the performance auditions and talk with the technical applicants. (You can simply put a note in their troupe mailbox for any student you would like to meet with further).
Our College visitation time will be Friday from 5:45-7:45pm and Saturday from 9am-3:30pm. Our workshop sessions will be Friday afternoon from 4:45-5:45 and Saturday from 3:30-5:30.
TRAK-1 BACKGROUND CHECK - ALL Adults (Workshop Presenters, College Reps, Chaperones & Troupe Directors - any non student) need to have a background check. You will receive an email with the application link. Please complete that ASAP. This background check is being done for and paid for by PA Thespians. This is separate from whatever school districts or colleges may require for adults.
