REGISTRATION
ThesFest Registration - deadline - November 1st
The following are the things you (troupe director) need to complete your registration for the Conference....
1. Troupe Registration form (due 11/1)
2. Ribbon order (due 11/1)
3. Honor Troupe Application (optional, due 11/9)
4. PA Conference Health and Consent Forms emailed (digital copies) to Chapter Director (due 12/9)
5. Payment (due 12/9)
- Troupe Registration form (will be posted by the end of September) - Download, save with your school name as the file name, complete the form, email to chapter director and send payment info to your applicable party asap so payment can be received by PA Thespians by Nov 30th. Payment can be made by credit card over the phone with the chapter director or in person at conference registration.)
- Student Registration worksheet - Some troupe directors use this to help gather all the information they need from each of their students to complete the registration. You may want to modify this to best fit your needs or not use it at all. PA Thespians do not collect this form. Whether you choose to use this is totally optional.
- Students may attend the conference with a registered troupe if they are not Inducted Thespians or Jr Thespians, however they need to be inducted to be eligible to participate in Thespys, Scholarships, Jr College Showcase and Improv Pairs. (We recommend students avoid using school email addresses since they are often rejected when being contacted by EdTA, PA Thespians, college, universities, etc.)
- It is the responsibility of the Troupe Director to register students (and adults) for the Conference.
- If a Troupe Director cannot attend, an Acting Troupe Director can be named by the Troupe Director and confirmed by the School Principal via an official letter to the Chapter director. It is expected that the Acting Troupe Director will meet all the deadlines and assume all the responsibilities of the Troupe Director for participation prior to and during the Conference.
Transportation is the responsibility of each participating school.
Hotels for Thursday and Friday evenings are the responsibility of each participating school. (We will publish a list of hotels and any special rates they are offering)
Please Note - PA Thespians will not have a nurse in attendance at ThesFest. Health concerns are the responsibility of each individual troupe director and the chaperones for that troupe.

TRAK-1 BACKGROUND CHECK - ALL Adults (Workshop Presenters, College Reps, Chaperones & Troupe Directors - any non student) need to have a background check. You will receive an email with the application link after we process registrations. Please complete that form ASAP. This background check is being done for and paid for by PA Thespians. This is separate from whatever school districts may require for adults to participate as chaperones. Every non student will receive an email with the link for the application (everyone needs to be registered with a working email address.)
PA CONFERENCE CONSENT & HEALTH FORM - each delegate (students and adults) must fill out and have parents (if students) sign. Each delegate must carry a copy of it in their badge when at conference. Troupe Directors need to scan and send digital copies to the Chapter Director. Troupe directors need to have a copy of each form with them during conference. (you will need to scan a copy and email them to the Chapter Director, and have 2 copies of each form when you leave your school for conference - one for you to keep and one for each delegate to put in their name badge during conference.)
